"A gull landed on the roof of my tent after a downpour and spent a few seconds drinking from the pools of rainwater that had collected, just enough time for me to reach for a camera and grab a shot before it flew off. I like the unusual viewpoint, how the light enhances the outlines of the raindrops pooled around those translucent webbed feet, and the way the tent material has veiled the bird, keeping only its beak and feet the focus of attention."
