Like the vast majority of websites, visiting this site places small
files called "cookies" on your device, in this case to monitor
basic non-personally identifiable visitor activity. They are set to
provide info about how many people visit the website, how long they
stay for, and whether they came from a search engine / advert / link
or arrived directly by typing the address into the browser.
__utma : set to expire approximately two years after the last visit
and is used to see if someone has visited the site before (a unique
visitor).
__utmb : used to register when a visitor opens the page and expires
thirty minutes after being set.
__utmc : expires when the session ends. It registers the end of the
session when the browser is closed.
__utmt : expires after ten minutes. It limits the collection of data
on high traffic sites.
__utmz : this is a traffic source cookie to see where the visitor was
referred from, such as from a search engine or advert.
Additionally, third party sites may sometimes place their own cookies
when content is shared. For instance, embedding a YouTube video in a
webpage may create cookies from Google.
