Here's a few pics of Black Foxxes from their Alternative Escape set at Brighton's The Great Escape Festival. They're an excellent band well worth your time if you're a fan of Rock, played as it always should be, with passion. We got together earlier that evening to shoot a band portrait which you can see on page 9. More info on Black Foxxes can be found at www.blackfoxxes.com.

On a side note, these pics were taken at the South East X South West event (SEXSW) held at The Prince Albert. This was the second time I had been to a SEXSW gig. Last year's event was also a great evening. The SEXSW event showcases bands from Cornwall and bands based locally around the Brighton area. It is one of those gigs where the organisers make a real effort to ensure sure there is a great atmosphere. Like last year, Cornish pasties were once again freely available to anyone who wanted them! Hopefully, there will be another SEXSW at next year's Great Escape as it is a great way to kick the festival off.

Although I was originally only going to take photos of Black Foxxes, they recommended a band called Patrons who were also playing. Another very impressive band and I couldn't resist taking a few snaps of them too. If you haven't already seen them some shots from their set are on the previous page.
